My little interview...

Kate, over at Eucalyptus Pillow, posted her answers to questions a fellow blogger sent to her and asked if anyone else would be game for an interview. I subscribe to the Pillow so I figured I'd be game for some questions from Kate. Here they are, along with my answers.

1. What's your favorite vacation spot?

Well I have favorite vacation spots for different times in my life. My favorite vacation as a young adult was a road-trip to Texas with my friend Rachel. We had great fun with no real plan for when we got there. (Surprisingly, I had a lot more fun on this trip than I did in Cancun. All depends on who you're with.)

My favorite vacation spot with my husband is Orlando. We went there for our honeymoon and returned there for our 5th anniversary. We stayed in the same hotel both times. I love that hotel.

My favorite vacation spot with my whole family is that resort we went to last summer. (Ran out of words so here's one more post!)

2. You've just won 20 million dollars in the lottery. What is the first thing you do?

Aside from fainting? I would call a contractor to come out and discuss a new house and/or addition.

3. What's your favorite comfort food?

Macaroni and Cheese, or any type of pasta. It is my ultimate downfall. Why does it have to make me fat??

4. You've been trapped in an elevator with your favorite celebrity or iconic person (must be alive). Who is he or she and what do you want to talk about?

This is a hard one. On the one hand, I don't really care that much about celebrities to have a favorite. On the other hand the first thing I thought when I read this question was who should I pick to sound intellectual? Because I want you all to be fooled into thinking I'm really smart or something. So then I'd pick someone like Maya Angelou and you'd all say Ahhh, isn't she smart?

But honestly my first thought after the "pick someone smart-sounding" instinct wore off, was to pick someone I think is handsome, because if I'm going to be stuck in an elevator with someone I want them to be easy on the eyes. Currently that person would be Patrick Dempsey for me. And I'd ask him about his twin boys and pretend I'm interested while I'm just getting lost in his eyes.

5. Wine or beer?

Oh gosh. I like both but I'd have to say beer.
