This was taken at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. We listened to some interesting facts about eagles, then they brought in one of the eagles they've rebilitated that live there now because they wouldn't survive in the wild. She had her meal for the day and we got to take photos. (In front of a flag, 'natch!)

Awesome photo!!! I keep hoping to capture one that I think flies around here...my husband thinks I am crazy, but I swear I see one every now and then.
