Real Mom Confessions #1

Confession: I haven't exercised in 2 days.

I wanted to. Sort of. In theory.

But the fact of the matter is that I started that monthly cycle thing and it pretty much sucks.

I cramp, I bloat, the weather was cloudy, rainy and dreary.

I felt like committing felonies. ( I didn't.)

I hope to work out tomorrow.

ugh I always hate when people say exercising helps with the bloating and cramps. Like I want to bother with moving when I feel that bad!!!

Hope it subsides for you soon!

Good job on avoiding felonies, now get out there...or at least get out there as soon as you feel better.

From someone who doesn't exercise I would probably be a terrible motivator. I always think the amount of times I climb up the stairs, pick up my 3 yr old, play with my kids and try to work on my art at the same time is enough of a workout for me.

Friends, today was another non-exercising day. Tomorrow may or may not be one. Monday will probably not be one. BUT- I will get back on track. I will.

I have found that the chewable Gas-X tablets REALLY help with getting rid of bloating and cramps on the first/worst days. More so than swallowing half the bottle of Motrin. The vanilla ones are pretty tasty, too.

Hope you're feeling back to your normal self now. I'm catching up on blogs after being gone for the weekend.
