Our House Is a Very Very Very Fine House...But it is too Small

Here is our house in the back. It's a fine house, but it is too small. I neglected to take true before photos with the sidewalk and the plants and such, but this will do.

This is the side view of the house. There will be another 20 feet added on the back when this is done.

The addition will be 2 stories, from the yellow line in this photo over to the edge of the house. We plan on having a new master bedroom with an extension on our existing bathroom for the upper level. The bottom level will eventually be a toy room/play room...possibly part scrap room.

I'm fairly certain the whole process will make me want to gouge my eyes out, but when it's done it will be fabulous!!

Lucky you! As my kids are getting bigger, it feels like our house is eating us alive with their lanky limbs all over the place. I hope the process goes well!

Can't wait to see it when it's done. We've put off our addition (master suite and full bath) until the economy turns around; for now we're going to update our full bath.

Keep us posted on the progess!

Wow! That's an undertaking. But sounds like it will be awesome when it's done. Good luck!

Wow how exciting. I love that you guys are adding on to what you have rather than moving on up. You have so much to work with!

Sending positive reno vibes!

That will be awesome! And, so worth all the trouble. Although, you may not think so when you're tripping over workmen with their rear ends hanging out of their pants and wondering if you'll ever have your house back in order again. In the end though, it will be fabulous.
