Along about this time of year
We wonder if Spring will ever appear.
Yet more snow brings thoughts of floods
We search the trees for signs of buds.
The kids just want to ditch the coats
And have weather just right for boats
And fishing and biking and playing
Knowing that the sun is staying.
I long for rolling thunder booming
And dream of all the flowers blooming.
I want to hear the frogs so loud
And know that they are such a crowd.
I love the sun and love the heat.
Summer vacation cannot be beat.
Bring on mosquitos, bring on hot days.
For summer weather I have only praise.

I couldn't agree more with this poem, I long for the days of short sleeves, flip flops, and a good thunderstorm.
P.S. Before I read this I happened to just take a peek @ the countdown I have on facebook for KNMS, there are 127 days left, wish it was more like 2 days!
Yea! I couldn't agree more. Amma
A trip my way someday...?
I couldn't agree more...I love hot steam August nights! Sadly they are so few and far between lately.
When they happen I will take pictures!
Love the new dress...very cool zebraish!
That should have said Hot Steamy... sigh
Holly! That would be so fantastic. I loved the 2 times I've been to Florida.
Thanks, Friends, for the compliments on @Napwarden's awesome design.
It is cold windy and rainy here today. I want sun so bad.
