It's been almost a whole year of celebrating the simple joys of life!The news made D so happy that she stood on her head:
(Actually, she's mad in that photo. I wouldn't let her play with my scrapbook paper. Mean mommy! I still think it's cute how she protests though. Maybe I will try that next time I'm mad.)The big kids each asked for, and received, a Nintendo DS Lite from Santa. They absolutely LOVE them. They've brought them in the car on our various road trips and the trips have been wonderfully quiet and fight-free. Better even than when we had the portable DVD player. I bought myself a couple of games to play when the kids are in bed too! ;)
We went to the MN Zoo again last week. We have a membership there so we go several times during the year. We always have a good time whether it's really hot or really cold when we go, and since we know we'll be back we never feel rushed or need to see everything every time we go.

Lol at you buying some games to play on the DS's. My hubby keeps playing our boys at night when he is snoozing too but he plays his Ben 10 game! Men they never grow up form boys! lol
