Simply Joy Sunday #34

Celebrating finding joy in the little things in life...

I've been playing with my camera and found this little guy in our front yard. Truth be told we have a lot of frogs and toads around here because there is a pond behind our house. Some parts of the year you can hardly walk in our yard 2 feet without seeing at least one toad frantically hopping out of your way. I thought it was interesting how well he blended in with the tree stump. Do you see him there?

I took several frames to try to capture this bee busily working away. I love this shot, but I have an even better photo that I'll be posting on a Wordless Wednesday coming up. That photo really made me happy, but I want to save it for WW.
Do you ever take photos of the critters around you? Rest assured I will not be doing any photo sessions with the bats. Ewwww.

Are you feeling the joy too? Let me know and I'll link to you here (don't forget to link to me too!)

Ooo groovy pictures! I haven't had a lot of quality time with my camera as of late ... maybe in a year or so :)

Ooh, I'd trade you. Our native wildlife seems to be spiders and yellow jackets. ICK. (And that is a great picture of the frog. : )

I've posted my joys for the week! : )
