If you live in the Midwest, are a parent, and like to write I'd like to invite you to join me in my latest venture. I started a blog for Midwestern parents. Ideally, I'd like to have it become an online community of parents where we can share resources and ideas. Let's face it, as parents we need all the support we can get.
Currently the only writer is me. I'd obviously like to increase that number. The more writers the better actually.
There is no benefit other than you will be able to get your writing out there if you don't already blog. If you do blog, you'll have another place to promote your blog.
If we're successful you never know what could happen.
What do you say? Anyone up for a new project?

I'm near Cincinnati, Ohio - does that count as the Midwest? (I ask because my husband and I continue to argue about this - I say yes, he says no.) If it does, I'm interested!

Umm.... my parents are from the Midwest. Alas, I live in the South, else I would totally volunteer. If you need a transplant view, let me know!

I used to be from the Midwest :) I'm a part of the New England Mamas and it's been really fun. I think the idea of a Midwest blog group is a great one. I know there's a couple Chicagoians who read my blog.
Don't know when you changed your header, but I like it!
I'll probably pass on contributing at this time. Somehow Central Snark sucked me in and now I'm writing in 2 blogs already - which is probably 1 more than I should be.
