One child tonight

Today we spent part of the morning and into the afternoon at a friend's children's birthday party. The kids had a blast and I got to chat with my friends. Always a good thing.

This afternoon I dropped Miss M at my parents' house. She is having a sleep-over. This morning when I rolled out of bed she was already half-way packed. She'd packed her lovie and 1 pair of underwear. What else do you need?

We arrived at my parents' house and she immediately asked me when I was leaving. Feeling the love. Yes I am.

I finally left and stopped to buy myself some new sandals since the ones I have been wearing almost have a hole wore straight through the sole. In case you're wondering...this is not comfortable.

At home, K man was driving our Powerwheels Jeep around in front of his Dad who was attempting to mow the lawn. Both had wide grins on their faces.

K has been smiling non-stop this evening. Having his Daddy ALL TO HIMSELF is his biggest dream I think. The kid is in Heaven.

Miss M, no doubt, is as well.

Hmmmm. Nah. I'd miss M too much.

Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. I'm hoping it works that way with the kids so they stop fighting for a day or two!

I know, keep dreaming.

I bet the kids will be ready to be nice to each other tomorrow! :) At least, that's what we can always hope for, right?
