The Ball and Chain

We hadn't been to a wedding in several years. Most of our relatives that are going to get married are already married, most of our friends are married. We're in that lull period when there are few events like this. But we were invited to the wedding of one of my husband's coworkers. They already have 2 kids, so our kids were welcome at the wedding as well.

I knew no one besides my family and the groom (and his kids). I'd only met the bride briefly before this. My anxiety was high, but I just sat and people watched so it was bearable. I didn't force myself to talk to anyone.

It was fun to sit and watch and remember my own wedding day.
