Facing the Future

I'm going to attempt to home school Ms. D all by myself this year. Last year, we did a preschool home school co-op with some friends, but this year they have all moved on to traditional preschools. D intermittently will sit with me to read books. She loses interest in practicing to write her name quickly. I'm afraid I will not prepare her properly for Kindergarten...at least academically. She's more than prepared socially.

I can only hope that, as the weeks go by, she shows more interest in these things. We will go out and experience the world as well. I hope I don't fail her.

Any suggestions for me?
