Tap, tap, tap. Is this thing on? (Or, Random thoughts #20)

Wow. Nothing like writing a post about how you want to know that people are reading your words to make everyone stop commenting altogether!

Lucky me, I officially have another cold. You know, because being pregnant isn't fun enough without having illness on top of it.

I'm finding it difficult to wrap my mind around the fact that Dale Earnhardt Jr is not driving the Budweiser car.

Why, if the poop on my son's butt hurts his butt so much, does he insist on pooping in his pants instead of the potty?

I've officially become addicted to playing Scramble and Texas Holdem Poker on Facebook. Not that I'm any good at them, but I think I might have a problem.

Why doesn't the spell-check button work in Blogger for me anymore?

Did I spell altogether right? Because that's bothering me that I don't know and I'm too lazy to look it up tonight.

According to my scale this morning I'm back at my pre-pregnancy weight. (Which is about the weight I was at the end of my first 2 pregnancies.)

I saw the baby move across my belly this afternoon. So did my Dad. It was cool.

I'm in need of good book recommendations again. I've read most of what's been recommended to me last time I asked. Books I've read recently that I enjoyed are: The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, I Know This Much Is True, A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Secret Life of Bees, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Mermaid Chair and Beneath a Marble Sky. Anyone have something along these lines to recommend? Right now I'm reading Anne Tyler's Ladder of Years.

That's all for now. I have to go play some Scramble you know. Oh, and blow by bose doo.

I have a cold, too. Poor us.

And yes, altogether is spelled correctly.

Let's see...

How about The Amateur Marriage (also Ann Tyler)?

Or Ian McEwan's Atonement or Saturday?

The new Tom Perrotta (The Abstinence Teacher)?

I think I'm starting to get addicted to Scramble too, I just played about 7 games in a row before I decided to take a break...

Book recommendation have you read any books by Jodi Picoult? I've ready 2 of hers (The Pact and Nineteen Minutes) and both were good. Nicholas Sparks is also a good author I have a couple of his books. Atonement also looks like a good book, I bought that book a couple weeks ago.

You will love Abide With Me by Elizabeth Strout. Fabulous! Preggers and sick: ugh.

Yes, Jodi Picoult is a great author! My favorites by her have been Harvesting the Heart and My Sister's Keeper. I couldn't put them down!

You could borrow my copy of The Glass Castle if you want...one of my favorite memoirs ever!
