Random Thoughts #19

1. Survivor finale tonight. It's the one time that Miss M will pick TV over reading books in bed.
2. We have a new oven. Our old one decided that 10 years of service was enough. On the bright side, the new oven works wonderfully.
3. The kids' Christmas program was held today at our church. My kids actually behaved themselves during the program. It was a minor miracle that K did, considering his disagreeable mood today.
4. I love the "Shweaty balls" skit on SNL. I watched both times the Christmas special was on this week just so I could see that skit twice.
5. I have 3 Christmas presents left to wrap, 1 batch of sugar cookies to make and some snackies for Christmas Eve to make then I'm all done with Christmas preparations. Maybe I can start cleaning my house again. (I think there is a counter top in our kitchen. I vaguely remember seeing one anyway.)
6. Miss M was unimpressed by the detention. "All we did was sit there Mom!" No big deal to her.
7. The anatomy ultrasound has been scheduled for December 27th.
8. My thyroid is functioning normally so there is no "medical" explanation for my weight loss yet. Interestingly, (or perhaps not) I have gained 2 pounds since Thursday.
9. Our Christmas celebrations will begin Saturday and continue every day until Christmas Day.
