I love this Mom

I was at Wal-Mart today with K, picking up some milk and misc. other stuff we needed.

K spent much of the time running from me, then running back to me. By the time I got to the grocery section I was getting tired of him running around, but I was unwilling to scream at him as I've seen many parents do in public. I have my limits I guess.

So, he was running and laughing and ran in front of a mom pushing a full cart with one kid in the cart and another next to the cart.

I told K, watch out! And my eyes did an involuntary roll.

The Mom smiled and passed saying "I'm with ya!"

I had a smile on my face for a good 10 minutes, knowing I was not alone.

6 people like me!:

Solidarity! Isn't it the best? It is why I blog.

Sorry I've been absent here lately. Things are nuts at Chez Pollo. Be back more often, I promise.

I know what you mean. Every time my kid darts in front of somebody's cart, I think, "Man, I hope that person is a parent."

Oh, I agree. It makes all the difference to know that you are understood.
