I went out to eat on Saturday with my mom, aunts, sister-in-law and cousin to celebrate my cousin Chelsea's 19th birthday. We went to a few craft stores before and after our lunch. I normally don't go to these crafty-type stores, simply because I don't have the money to spend on things like that. But I went and looked at all sorts of cute little knick-knacky things that really I don't have room in my house for even if I had the money for them. Let's face it, my kids would destroy most of that stuff in a matter of minutes anyway.The last place we went to I saw this picture.
For whatever reason, I instantly wanted it to hang in K's room. So I wandered around the store, circling back to look at the picture, then wandered some more. I kept going back. It cost too much.But I wanted it for K. Someday he'll look at me and sigh. "Mom, will you get this cheesy picture out of my room!!??" But until then, it will hang in his room and let him know that I truly do...

Sometimes I think pictures and paintings "talk" to us. That's a precious picture and he'll appreciate its meaning when he's much older, I'm sure!! It's probably an heirloom some day.
